1 May 2023 - NSTR Ski Distribution - Stayed at the Campground

 

This morning we sent out a message to those who ordered the stainless steel slide skis about picking them up.  Here is a picture of Ronnie Wright, Michael Burton and Trent Mills and the unclaimed skis on the table!  We will get them distributed this week , no issues!  Trent is going to install his on Wednesday morning and I will photo-document that for others to see.

I took an opportunity to wash the "love bugs" off of our front cap.  The bugs down here are really nasty and we have been informed to keep them cleaned off,  

Later we had some Ally's stop by and look at our Nautilus retractable shower door that Michael Pizzi put us onto.  We are very happy with this shower door solution and recommend it to others over the OEM glass doors.  It is so nice to meet other Ally's and exchange information with them.

Later we walked around the campground with Liberty and watched for new arrivals.  Several Ally's are due in today.   I also was watching for a box from Rock Auto that contained my replacement hood latch.  That will correct the false alarm we had a few nights ago.  

Then we took a hike down the trail to the bay to the north of the campground.  It is paved past the RV park owner's house and then turns to sand after that.  It was a nice walk and we paused at the end to enjoy the view.  

At the end of the trail we paused for a swing on this and enjoy the view for a while.  Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses along the way! 

Later our friends from Florida arrived and we shared some adult beverages with them.  Bob and Jill hail from Orlando, and George and Donna live in Cape Canaveral.  It is so great to reconnect with great friends along the way.  Unfortunately I have no pictures, but we will rectify that tomorrow!

No set plans for tomorrow yet. It is all good!
