Last day at the Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds campground and the last day of the 2023 Alliance RV Rally! Another quick post tonight as we bug out tomorrow morning and head north to Traverse City MI for a few night.
Our day started early as the repair technicians were wrapping up the last day repairs and were hitting it hot and heavy at 0700 hrs! We had our repairs completed already but son-in-law Keith had several open items. They replaced his 21 ft long awning and repaired the shorter awning alignment so it closes correctly. They replaced the master control box and control panel for his levelers, which corrected an issue he has had since his coach was new. They reattached some trim on his living room cabinets and repaired his fireplace cabinet so that it opens and closes as it should. Another technician repaired a window shade and several windows so they latch properly. That sounds like a lot but they are so efficient they knocked that out in minimal time. Finally MORryde was over to install a new handrail system.
During this time I attended some more seminars covering various systems on out coaches. They are very informative and will help us should we run into problems while we are camping. The more informed you are, the more time you can spend in the campground and the less time you spend in the repair shop.
Shortly after noon we gathered in the main event hall as the silent auction closed. I was tasked with taking pictures (candids) of the silent auction prizes and the winners. As mentioned before, all the proceeds go towards the Boys and Girls Clubs
It is after midnight now, and we are going to wrap it up for tonight. Tomorrow's journey is going to come soon enough. We will sure miss our friends on the Alliance team and our Ally's we have met here from all over the United States.
Next report, Traverse City MI
