This morning Doreen did one load of laundry before we move on to our next stop. When she was done around noon we headed into Munising one last time to pick up a few groceries, top off the big ol' brown truck with her favorite beverage (diesel), and do a little wine tasting.
I do not usually drink much wine (prefer either bourbon or non-IPA beer), but I did a tasting as well, and shared my selections with Doreen. We picked out four, highlighted in yellow above, along with a Keeper's Ice Wine which is made from Vidal grapes frozen on the vine. It is a smaller bottle slightly more expensive than their other wines. They were all very good. Of the selections above I believe my preference was cranberry. When we are in the New Lisbon WI area we usually stop at the Burr Oak Winery and resupply with cranberry wine.
On the way back to the campground we topped off the truck and then came back to complete our other pre-departure tasks.
Tomorrow morning, not too early, we will head south into Wisconsin up around Green Bay into Door County to Bailey's Harbor where we will camp for the next five nights!
Thanks for checking in on us!
